Risk Factors and Lifestyle Changes in Coronary Heart Disease

     In women over the age of 40, cardiace disease is the    number one cause of death. Even among women aged    19 to 39, cardiac disease is second only to motor    vehicle accidents resulting in death.

   Several risk factors have been identified for cardiac    disease. Some of these can be modified or prevented.

          There are lifestyle changes to reduce the risk of           coronary heart disease and contribute to good heart           care.
